It is mentioned in this website that "The vast preponderance of the  
evidence suggests that the major moons have been there for millions of  
years."
Please enlighten me on the evidence. By the way, the moons did not  
exist until someone made the observation?

Perhaps, you should distinguish "Truth" and "truth" as well.
