I ran across this today, and thought some of you might find it a useful
resource. It seems fairly new; the description indicates it started in July
2008. I don't find it particular well advertised.
From their web-site:
"APS has launched a new, free, online publication called *Physics*:
physics.aps.org . Each week *Physics* will highlight a few important papers
from the family of *Physical Review* journals, with commentaries written by
prominent physicists and designed to be understood by non-specialists. *
Physics* will also feature overviews of fields of strong current interest. *
Physics* will strive to bring new developments in all areas of physics to
all physicists, including students."
