My apologies for the incomprehensible Table 1 "Google Hit Parade of
Cliches" in my previous post "Cliche Challenge."
The Table 1 version below has been reformatted so as to be relatively
resistant to column misalignments by most (but probably not all)
discussion-list servers:

A Google <http://www.google.com/> search for "and also" (with the
quotes) on 9 Apr 2008 09:23:00-0700 yielded 204 million hits, thus
exceeding the hit numbers of all the top ten cliche hits of Stan
Smith's (2006) "Cliche Challenge' of 16 March 2006, but falling far
below the 2630 million Google hits for "Blog" in 2008, as shown in
Table 1 below:
TABLE 1. Google Hit Parade of Cliches
1st column: Cliche;
2nd column: Google hits on 3/6/2006;
3rd column: Google hits on 4/9/2008;
4th column: Ratio of Google hits 2008/2006.
Perverse discussion list servers may misalign the columns.
