While agree in generality and in particularity with sentiment of the
absurdity of most of the list that John D. wrote; particularly in
hindsight; all the quotes do suffer from the fact that the context of
the quote is not given. Just to take one example,
"It won't take weeks. You know that, professor. Our military machine
will crush Iraq in a matter of days and there's no question that it
will."

I imagine that the context of the above was referring the to
conventional military war between US and the Iraqi military and the
prediction was on the whole correct. There may be one or two others
that taken in context could be determined to be substantially correct (I
did not carefully vet the entire list however.)
As an aside, I'm no fan of Bill O'Reilly either, but . . .
