Oops! This doesn't make sense, even to me!
It sprang from the idea that small generators are often used as DC tachos,
having a linear voltage versus rotation rate.

It is easy to see that this does not sit well with a power proportional to
wind speed cubed character, if I also make assumptions about the
wind speed to generator rotation rate.
