Seriously, Yoplait has a "new" type of yogurt (4 oz containers) called
Whips! The last ingredient is nitrogen. I believe it is the only yogurt on
the market like this. It is light and fluffy -- unlike traditional
yogurts. And if you stir it, it loses this property and becomes more like
a viscous liquid/yogurt. Interesting! Tasty!

Maybe some fun applications in physics or chemistry?

Perhaps as well to mention that the 'active ingredient' is laughing gas
- N2O - which froths up cream (and evidently yoghurt) nicely.
The gas is purveyed in capsules of about the same size as the CO2
propellant gas which is used in BB guns etc.

But if inorganic chemistry is not your thing, how about
Danone's Activia - which makes much of its culture - Bifidus Regularis?

Brian Whatcott Altus OK Eureka!
