There is the bare naked ladies song "When I fall" with the following as 
the first verse.

I look straight in the window, try not to look below
Pretend I'm not up here, try counting sheep
But the sheep seem to shower off this office tower
Nine-point-eight straight down I can't stop my knees

You can look at that Canadian band Rush for more physics references from 
what I remember. I can't recall any off the top of my head but I seem to 
remember there being some in their stuff.
