Ah yes: the confusion of the intellectual, the material and the
spiritual.  Always a problem when the tools of navigating one space
are deployed in another.

[An aside]
Interesting to learn that the  tools of voting/gambling are coming
into use for prediction:  here the material invades the intellectual,
and one supposes that this too will end in tears.
