Re: [Phys-l] Rotating platform for demos

I find the stools to be far more durable. The ball bearing races in the
platforms (Lazy Susan type) tend to seize up with use.

Subject: [Phys-l] Rotating platform for demos

I need to get a new rotating platform/stool for doing the standard
classroom angular momentum demonstrations using bicycle wheel, holding
kg masses and bringing arms in and out, etc.

What do you recommend or not recommend? Has anyone had experience with
the PASCO Discover Rotation Platform?

Thanks,
