Thanks, Jack -- *I* got the joke (as did others who teach projectile motion, presumably)... Now I'll be looking for ways to work it into that particular lesson!

Actually, these days I find myself trying to find ways to eradicate all the references to guns/bullets/not-so-smart monkeys/etc. -- there's too much real violence going on for me to feel the need to add to it with examples illustrating physics concepts.
