John,
Would you be kind enough to send me some more info on the U Mass book?
I'm considering a change of text for our introductory (college prep,
but not honors) high school physics course, and am leaning toward
Hewitt's Conceptual Physics. Would the U Mass book be appropriate for
this group?

So perhaps the groups have not gotten together enough to make blanket
statements. The U.Mass group is one of the few that has published and
integrated curriculum book which is coherent, and probably the only
one to
also have a good teacher's manual which explicitly gives the rationale

they
have done is very accurate.
