Re: [Phys-l] Help needed: Thermal conductivities of alloys?

I can give you thermal diffusivities at room temperature from the book
Thermal Diffusivity, Thermophysical Properties of Matter, Volume
10, YS Toyloukian, ed.
Once you have thermal diffusivity, multiply the value by the bulk
density and specific heat values for the material to get thermal
conductivity.

Composition of Ag wire:
I do not have the particular alloy, but the value for pure silver
is about 1.5 cm^2/s.

Composition of PCu wire
0.7 cm^2/s

Composition of Al wire
0.8 cm^2/s

Composition of the brass wire
0.2 cm^2/s

Composition of the
stainless steel wire
0.1 cm^2/s

Composition of the
steel wire
0.1 cm^2/s

Thanks in advance!
