CNN brought in an expert who explained that a sub-kiloton device
was equivalent to "less than a thousand pounds" of TNT.
She said it twice.
I'm gonna add this to my list of why everybody should take a
physics course. To me it seems that the difference between
a pound and a ton is significant. The news networks seem
to think that this is an important topic. If they can't be
bothered to get the numbers approximately right, why bother
to mention the numbers at all?
