I'm currently driving a 15 year old Toyota that gets ~32 mpg running
around town, close to 40 on sustained highway driving. Like Rick
Tarara, I would not be able to justify the higher cost of a hybrid. (I
also don't put a lot of miles on, anyway. My office is 1.3 miles from
my driveway. The Toyota has a mere 98500 miles on it - I bought it 2
years old with 48000.)
