Re: [Phys-l] dirty water

Steam escaping from a beaker with boiling dirty water is supposed to be

that escaping bubbles create tiny droplets of dirty water and rising

I have heard of liquids that boasted of their "triple-distilled"
provenance. This would provide some evidence of
1) narrowing the cut of liquids with a range of boiling points
or
2) reducing the conductivity of fluids with a fixed boiling point.

Moreover, the highest grades of pure water boast of benefiting from
distillation and ion-exchange.
