Subject: [comp-sci-theory] Undergraduate Research Database

Hi,

I am a recent graduate of Dartmouth College and am working with
young alumni from around the country to promote a new non-profit,
online database of undergraduate research (www.ugresearch.org). The
database is a searchable compilation of undergraduate honors theses
and other high quality independent research.

Currently, most undergraduate research never leaves the campus on
which it is written and academia has no means of accessing the
work. Our database will fill a gap in the research universe by
providing the first comprehensive database of high-level
undergraduate academic work. The database allows students and
faculty at top schools to access and download digital copies of the
papers of interest.

We have had great feedback from students using the website. They
are excited about making their hard work valuable to society, rather
than stuck in the basement of their college library.

As a yahoo group interested in undergraduate academics, I thought
you might want to know about the new opportunity.

Best wishes,

Peter Noteboom
