I'm lost.  If the entire question was mistyped, please restate the
_entire_ question, as clearly as possible.  Please clarify any
assumptions about sliding and/or static friction.

Also, please try solving the problem using the principles already
suggested in this thread.  I strongly suspect the problem will no
longer exist.
