[Phys-L] Re: [SPAM-4.611] Re: THE WEDGE STRATEGY of The ID Movement

In the course of doing research on the solution of nonlinear equations, I
ran into a number of peer-reviewed papers in which the authors had no faith
in the Leray-Schauder Theorem (1934). As a result they did not find
solutions. I believed without reservation that topological degree was
invariant under homotopy because I had faith in science. This faith may
have been misplaced, however I always found the solution and, in some cases,
more than one when no more than one solution was expected.

Probably, I should have said, "If you wish to succeed in science, it is best
to have faith in science." Many Americans have faith that science will save
them from resource depletion which, probably, is not true. But, they have
no faith in the laws of thermodynamics since they still imagine that
economic growth in a finite world is sustainable.

P.S. This is absolutely my last post on this thread. I will continue to
answer off line however.

On the other hand, you have to have faith in science.
