The instructions for the AP Calculus exam state:

"Unless otherwise specified, your final answers should be accurate to
three places after the decimal point."

Yes, I have a question?

I assume that really means that all answers reported to three
significant places? Or does it?

Or does it mean that all intermediate results are rounded to three
significant places at each and every stage of a calculation?

| Hi folks,
|
| The AP Calculus folks have solved all our problems. They
| decree that all calculations, even those involving
| "real-world" examples, are to be carried out to three decimal
| places. All calculations. No exceptions.
|
|
| Any questions?

| Cheers!
