College physics instructor opportunity (non-tenure, permanent staff)
We are seeking a new colleague to aid in physics instruction and to
join an active, scholarly physics teacher preparation program at
Buffalo State. This position includes some instructional
expectation in introductory physics; and PER scholarship, research

Physics Instructional Support Specialist
Buffalo State [seeks a] full-time Instructional Support Specialist to
manage physics instructional laboratories, to begin in spring 2006.
Responsibilities: Development and upkeep of laboratories and
experiments, activities and demonstrations. Instruct classes, assist
in laboratory teaching.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in physics or physics
education. Experience and/or background which shows competent skills
in computer usage, mechanical shop work, and electronics relevant to
instructional college physics laboratory. Experience teaching or
working with teachers.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics or Physics Education.
