INNOVATIVE HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS TEACHER GRANT

A committee of physics educators will award grants which range from
$100-$500 to help support innovative physics programs and activities.
Teachers may also be eligible for travel expenses to attend an AAPT
National Meeting. Proposals for the grants are due by Nov. 1. For more

AAPT STATEMENT ON THE TEACHING OF EVOLUTION AND COSMOLOGY

In April 2005, the Executive Board adopted a policy statement on the
controversial topic of teaching of evolution and cosmology. To read the

OPEN FORUM TO DISCUSS CHOOSING THE NEXT EXECUTIVE OFFICER

At the 2005 Summer Meeting in Salt Lake City, meet with the Executive
Officer Search Committee to discuss the mission and role of the next
AAPT
Executive Officer. This open forum will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 8 at
5:00 pm in the University Room 411. To contact the committee with
