[Phys-L] Re: Why 60 hertz?

The article was very interesting, and probably comes close to what actually
happened. I remember reading a biography of Tesla that claimed he predicted
that 60Hz was the ideal frequency. Of course this could very well have been
made up by the author, or it could have been a legend. Incidentally at
Niagara Falls there is a statue of Tesla in the park, but none of Edison.
