I have created a file named <200fig1.jpg>; its icon is on the desktop
of my emac computer (OS 10.2.8). When I drag it to the Internet
Explorer I see the picture on my screen. The same happens when I drag
the icon to Safari, my second browser. I was happy with this first
step. Then I created an html document with a reference to my file, as
shown below.
The icon of the html document is also on my desktop. When the icon of
the document is dragged to Safari I see the document with the picture,
as it should be. But when I drag the same icon to the Internet Explorer
I see the document without the picture. Why is one browser working
properly while another is not working properly? What should I do to be
able to see the same thing with both browsers? I already restarted the
computer but this did not help.
