Re: CO2 sequestration

We are having difficulty with our pre-Lunar exploration day-dreams,
as revisited, evidently.

What would do rather nicely, is to recycle the CO2 into diamonds
and enhanced atmospheric O2

Diamonds are such a useful industrial abrasive: not too good
on steel it's true.....

Build houses, make furniture, etc. This will sequester some of the carbon
longer than the natural full life of the tree. Again, we need only
sequester the carbon until we can stop adding so much into the atmosphere.
Once the fossil fuels are gone or their use severely limited, then we should
be able to let nature take its course. Right now, forest fires could be
troublesome, but in the long range, they are natural. If WE can stop
setting them, then the fact that we can put out many naturally set fires
should compensate.
