One of my students made one last year as a class project. He used a leaf blower
and took the tube off the end. He cut a hole just large enough for the round
opening to be inserted and then glued it to a 3 ft diameter piece of 3/4"
plywood. A piece of heavy duty poly-something tarp was cut in a circle
approximately 1 ft larger than the circle and one hole (~1") surrounded by 6
holes (~1/2") placed 2" from the center hole were made in the tarp, it was then
attached to the bottom side of the board with duct tape. He attached a 30 ft
extension cord to it. It worked extremely well. The only problem was the fact
that it was limited in the distance it could travel due to the extension cord.
