Re: The LISTSERV Choice Awards

Are there any individual awards? I'm thinking of a
notorious cross poster who must have set some kind of a
bandwidth record by now :-)

Hello everybody,

Pardon the cross posting, but I stumbled across this just
now and felt
it would be of interest to people on physhare, phys-l,
tap-l and
chemed-l (which are the only 4 listserv-based lists that
I'm on). I am
sure that some of you are passionate about the lists you
participate in
(or else you wouldn't bother), so you may feel strongly
enough to
nominate a list for an award.

This is a bit time-sensitive. One category, educational
lists, has the
earliest deadline of March 29, 2004.

Here's the link:

"In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, L-Soft is
launching the
LISTSERV Choice Awards. The contest invites all LISTSERV
e-mail list
enthusiasts to participate in the award program for the
most
interesting, creative, innovative or exemplary usage of
L-Soft software
worldwide. The contest will feature seven different list
categories:
Educational, Philanthropic, Community, Announcement,
Technical
Innovation, Newsletter and E-Mail Marketing.

The contest will be open for nominations throughout 2004.
Different
categories will have different nomination deadlines."

"Anyone can nominate a LISTSERV list with the prerequisite
of being a
subscriber to the list. The language of the contest is
English, but the
nominated lists can originate in any country or language
as long as the
submitted information is in English and is valid."

More details and the nomination form are found through the
link above.
