Actually, both I and the students referred back to these ideas repeatedly
throughout the course(s). Once one makes this philosophy explicit to
himself and his students, it cannot help but permeate both your lectures and
their fashioning of their own personal philosophies. These philosophical
considerations underlie so many (especially conceptual) questions that come
up throughout the invention/discovery of physics.
