Fusion is the transition from a liquid to a solid. The counterpart to "fusion" is "melting". (I can't think of any synonym for "melting" that ends in "ion".) Also, I prefer the term "desublimation" to "deposition". Thus, I would list the phase transitions as follows:

If "heat of fusion" is the energy involved in the melting/freezing
process, what is the missing term below?
And, if vaporization refers to the liquid to vapor transition and
sublimation refers to the solid to vapor transition does "fusion"
refer to the solid to liquid transition?
