Re: Climate change

"WORLD WEATHER OFFICIALS ISSUE GLOBAL WARMING ALERT

INDEPENDENT, UK - In an astonishing announcement on global warming and
extreme weather, the World Meteorological Organization signaled last
night that the world's weather is going haywire. In a startling report,
the WMO, which normally produces detailed scientific reports and staid
statistics at the year's end, highlighted record extremes in weather and
climate occurring all over the world in recent weeks, from Switzerland's
hottest-ever June to a record month for tornadoes in the United States -
and linked them to climate change. ......."

How does this "coming out of glaciation" compare to previous ones?

Are the causes the same? (solar constant, or CO2, or, etc.)

In all cases is "crazy" weather concomitant?

What action do you recommend?!

We don't know what is causing the climate change -- or even if there _is_ a
climate change. We don't even know if any climate change (ie warming) is
generally harmful. Maybe we should do what we can to promote such a change
-- especially the Canadians and Russians for example -- They would be just
fine with it.

My assumption is that we are still coming out of a glaciation. If that is
true, what pray tell, would you do about that?
