Re: 3-way lamp problem

Hi,
At places like Home Depot or any lamp store you
can buy a corded unit that plugs in between the
non-touch lamp and the wall and makes it into a
touch lamp. I have one, and I think it was ~ $10
-1 $15.

Thanks

buy another lamp, throw its shade away, and use the one you like.

That's definitely an option.

If you like the lamp so much and can't fix it, bypass the electronics
and
replace the socket with a three way one and buy a three way bulb (has
two
filaments). Best: bypass, and use a CFB (compact fluorescent bulb).

Another viable option, but considering what a klutz I am when it comes
to "fixing" things (my motto is "If it ain't broke, fix it till it
is!") the first option sounds better to me. :-)
