Re: Capacitor energy experiment

People!

I was going to enter the fray earlier with an opposite view, but was called
away. Is it curiosity or habit (similar to the difficulty many have to
ignoring a ringing tele' or door bell) that some list members persist in
punishing themselves by reading DR's missives. I enjoyed them, but then I
didn't directly raise his ire. However, I think I have considerably
thicker skins than most, and would not have suggested his removal if I had.
[been the recipient of his ire.]

Did his removal confirm his paronoia?

Hi,
I usually feel strongly about allowing anyone to

strongly endorse the removal of Mr Rutherford from

I will now PUBLICLY ask the moderator to please remove Mr. Rutherford

Roger, and all:

After private email communication with Mr. Rutherford, he removed
himself from PHYS-L this afternoon. He had been privately emailed by
me some time ago regarding his posting tone.

I do appreciate all of _your_ assistance as subscribers in making
_your_ PHYS-L forum a pleasant and professional place where all sincere
questions are welcome and all postings are constructive in tone.
Ultimately _you_ as a community determine the standards and tone on
PHYS-L. I particularly appreciate the recent postings of John Denker,
John Mallinckrodt and Julie Hilsenteger on this issue. Their postings
were helpful and constructive in setting the tone of PHYS-L.

Thank you for your patience.
