This is definitely not and really has never been a Mac support list. I
have trouble keeping up with the phys-l postings as it is without having
non-physics threads to sift through and delete. Have you looked at the
help files on your Mac? Try "remove quote" for a starter search. I
_think_ if you would just cut and paste the text in question then the
quote formatting will disappear.
Have you tried looking for some message boards which specialize in Mac
troubleshooting? I bet they'll be more helpful than these physics people.
Have you tried a Google search? Perhaps you could keep track of those
people on this list who seem to be Mac-knowledgeable and _privately_ email
them when you have a question you think they'll be able to answer. Thank
you for keeping phys-l (and its archives) all about physics.
