Maximum: 2002 Aug. 12 22:30 UT -- about 24 hours from right now.
In the western hemisphere, that means tonight and tomorrow
night are about equally close to the maximum. The maximum
is plenty broad.
The usual advice is to lie down with your feet facing
northeast.
