My apologies.  I'll try one more time (sometimes I think that Cal State Fullerton brings up the rear guard of the American computing effort), because that was NOT my original message.
 
What I said was that the letter that Herb received, was the written equivalent of the "modern" phone response systems that give us no end of frustration.
