I believe the criterion was a 707. There are lots of airliners out
there today that are larger.

Having said that, however, I might point out that the containment
building is a pretty small target to try to aim a 300,000 kg
projectile traveling at 1000 km/hr at. It is not a trivial task to
put an airplane on a runway within 3-400 feet of a given spot under
the best of conditions, which is why Navy pilots, who have to do a
lot better than that practice carrier landing so much.
