Ivan's antivirus system apparently attaches that message to all his
outgoing messages. I'm not familiar with his GriSoft software, so I
don't know if he has the option of turning that attachment feature off
or not.

Yes, a virus could disguise a destructive worm as a fake anti-virus
message. So the best rule still is: Don't open *any* attachment you
receive from *anyone* until you have checked with them to confirm what
it is and why they sent it to you.
