Re: Conceptual Tests

This problem (criticism) was solved by Jeff Saul in his dissertation at the
University of Maryland. He repeated Hake's work in a 2000 student survey
that didn't rely on voluntary submission of test scores. Results were
similar to, but a little lower than, Hake's 6000 student survey, for both
traditional and for reform. Contact him at

cheers,
Jane

"Hake's paper is the one to look at. His papers are

want is at http://www.physics.indiana.edu/~sdi/ajpv3i.pdf the results of the
6000 student survey. This survey has been criticized that it relied on
voluntary submission of test scores."
