Re: Iron-rich solar core?

The missing flux now seems to be accounted for, as reported recently from
SNO combining their results on the charged current interactions with the
Kamiokande II results on the neutral current interactions.

I thought a neutrino flux discrepancy was one of the shortcomings of the
current solar model. Obviously I need to do some more reading and/or
discussing to get up to speed.

If someone goes to listen to him I would be interested in his
answers to any questions about the neutrino flux. There is a pretty good
model of the solar interior that does a nifty job of predicting the
neutrino flux, that might be a critical test for Manuel's hypothesis.
