Several of the extreme ultraviolet imaging telescope (EIT) sensors rely on
emissions from ionized iron (_really_ ionized iron, like Fe XII!).

It's also a good web site if you want to get movies of solar flares, coronal
mass ejections, etc. I've used a few of these in my class.
