Also check out the book by Daniel Schroeder. I used it and it worked well.
He has a good web site at http://physics.weber.edu/schroeder/ including
descriptions of the book (Introduction to Thermal Physics).
It also has good problems and the solutions manual is completely worked out
by Shroeder himself.
