I was sorry that this little note failed to kindle the list interest.
I will have to work harder.
I would think that a ramp, sloping up 15 cm and back down again,
on which one places a little vehicle, and demonstrates that it runs
up the hill and back down the other side unassisted, with appreciable
kinetic energy at the end of the ramp would be an interesting
coup d'oeil for developing conservation of energy ideas.

If you implemented this idea, you would of course notice the
initial magnetic repulsion you felt while placing the vehicle at the
foot of the ramp.
