I find that the best way to get people to understand something is to get
them to REALLY THINK about it. And the best way to do this is to expose a
truth that causes extreme mental irritation. Using the word "electricity"
lets people continue in the same old rut, avoiding any painful
confrontation with their misunderstandings. But firmly stating that
"electricity does not exist" blows everything wide open, and the seductive
misconceptions and old familiar mistakes have nowhere to hide.
