3. PLAYING AT PHYSICS

Can you teach physics with an online game?

Kwek Eng Yeow thinks so.

The physics teacher at Victoria Junior College
in Singapore won a Hewlett-Packard Innovation in
Information Technology Gold Award earlier this year
for his physics game.

The game requires students to steer a hot-air
balloon by applying concepts of physics.

A two-megabyte download of the game, which
requires Shockwave, is at this site. We didn't
finish the download or try the game.
