In Spanish we say:

"Entre gustos y colores no discutan los doctores"

that in english, in literal translation, means:

"Between tastes and colors the doctors do not discuss ."

The Latin version ot the maxim in my Larousse dictionary says:

"De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum."

Just in these days my son was memorizing this and others maxims, specially
the following one that he liked the most, and so did I:

"Amicus Plato, sed magis amica veritas."
