For H2O, the heat of sublimation (from solid to gas) is about 51.1
kJ/mol; the variation with temperature between 0 and -30 C affects
only the next decimal place. I got this number either from a
book of steam tables or from a CRC handbook; don't remember which.
For CO2, Atkins (p-chem text) gives the value 25.23 kJ/mol at the
1-atm sublimation point, 195 K. For iodine, Atkins gives only
fusion and vaporization data, so you'd have to do some calculation
to estimate the sublimation value. Atkins cites the AIP Handbook
(1972 ed), so you might check there if you have a copy.
