The Department of Physics at California State University, Fullerton seeks
applications for a full-time lecturer to begin in Fall 2001. The appointment
will be for a one-year term with the possibility of extension for a second
year. Duties include full-time teaching with the bulk of the assignment
involving introductory level physics and may include physics and/or
astronomy for non-science majors. Preference will be given to candidates
who have a completed a Ph.D. in physics or physics education and who have
experience with innovative physics pedagogy. Applicants with a master's
degree in physics or a closely related field and several years of successful
recent teaching experience will also be considered. The salary range begins
at $40,400 and the appointment will be at a level that is commensurate with
experience.
