Great idea! It would have to be during a lunar eclipse at sunrise/sunset?
Since the angular size of the sun isn't zero, the reflectors would still
light up long before the alignment became perfect, so partial eclipses
might still give results. The earth's shadow on the moon would be
surrounded by a wide band which, if a reflector was in that band, would
throw light back towards you.
