Re: Ionized air

But how do we explain the effect of humidity? Is
humid air (air with molecules and droplets of water)
more ionized than dry air? Why is so?

I think it's all a matter of surface conductivity caused by a water layer
filled with impurities (an electrolyte.)

If the air itself became conductive, this would not be hard to measure,
once artifacts caused by surface conductivity were removed.
