If you get a chance to do so, see the Imax/Omnimax film "Solar Max".
Like most such films it's not information-dense, but the few moving
pictures of the Sun's surface taken in time lapse H-alpha are worth
the price of admission. Does anyone know where these sequences can
be obtained? While they were awe inspiring in our Omnimax dome, they
must be pretty impressive on the small screen as well.
