Re: Web based physics courses

I received the following request from a colleague. If any of you have any
suggestions,
I would appreciate any information. It may be best to reply directly to:

jgoff@pimacc.pima.edu

"I have a brother back in Wisconsin who is a high school math teacher.
He is trying to fit into his schedule the taking of a physics course or
two. He can't seem to find anything in the area. Would you recommend
any type of correspondence program or internet option?"

I would think Ed Taylor's relativity and quantum mechanics courses
would be worth while. I believe they are run out of Montana State
and rather than being TV courses, they are e-mail correspondence
Courses. Chuck Britton has taken both. If he doesn't surface soon and
no one else who has taken them volunteers, bug him.

Let's face it. People use a Mac because they want to, Windows because they
have to..
